About Ecotap

At Ecotap, we make charging reliable, sustainable and smart. As a Dutch manufacturer, we develop and produce charging solutions for public spaces (from city centres to park-and-ride facilities), for locations with varying users (from shop visitors to office staff) and for vehicle fleets, logistics hubs and public transport. Since 2022, Ecotap has been part of Legrand as an independent brand. In this way, we build charging stations that not only perform today, but will remain relevant tomorrow too!

Reliable

Our aesthetically designed charging stations have been developed for environments where charging needs to work seamlessly. From workshops and vehicle depots to semi-public locations and busy public spaces. Thanks to robust materials, solid construction and weather- and vandal-resistant designs, the charging stations are reliable in a wide range of conditions. But reliability isn’t just about the exterior; it’s also in the technology. Think of simultaneous charging, stable power distribution, accurate measurements, billing and support for load management. This ensures the charging process remains predictable, even with intensive use or growing demand.

Sustainable

Our charging points are designed for the long term. They are largely made from recycled steel and feature a modular, standardised design. This makes it easy to replace, upgrade or refurbish individual components without having to replace the entire charging station. In this way, we extend the lifespan of our products, minimise material waste and reduce total lifecycle costs. Furthermore, our charging points are mainly produced in the Netherlands, with a focus on short supply chains and local suppliers. We also make conscious choices regarding packaging, using single-use plastics as little as possible. Furthermore, smart technology (the intelligent Ecosphere platform) facilitates remote management, updates and monitoring.

Smart

Thanks to the smart design of our charging stations, components are easily accessible and quick to replace, without the need for complex procedures or additional tools. This simplifies maintenance and reduces service times. For users, too, the charging process is clear and intuitive, ensuring hassle-free charging in a wide range of environments.
